Miley Cyrus was not all too surprising when she showed up to Saturday's iHeartRadio music festival wearing nipple pasties, a mesh dress and furry sleeves!
Honestly, although it is not something I would personally wear, I feel like people are being over dramatic. We all are aware of her new style and her new persona. It's like how people that lived in Michigan their whole lives are still surprised when the temperature is 45 one day and 80 the next. Get over it, buy both a sweater and a tank top, and man up. Miley is not on Disney Channel anymore, so what does it matter. Her music is STILL GOOD. You don't have to look at her if you don't want to.
I always find it funny when people will go out of their way to hate on a person just because they go about life differently than them. You know that one girl that bothers you on social media? UNFOLLOW HER! You don't need to follow her just so that you can talk about how much you hate her.
Therefore in terms of Miley, she has made it VERY clear that she does not care about any backlash she receives for her raunchy performances or outfits. This happens in pop music all the time. Madonna has done this, Britney Spears has done this. In words of Marilyn Monroe, "Well behaved women rarely make history."
